Our Story
It’s not really our story as much as it was God’s plan.
It was a bright, sunny, breezy Sunday afternoon and the mass had just ended at the St. Thomas Syro Malabar Church in Framingham, MA. There was lunch being served and members of the community made their way down to the church basement; as Jerril walked downstairs, Alina called over to Jerril and said, “Hey, Jerril chetta, this is Jincy”.
Once they started talking, they didn’t stop. They carried their conversation over lunch. Seeing that the two of them have a sweet tooth, helped themselves to some ice cream and continued their conversation outside.
It wasn’t long until they went on their first date at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. It was the start of something special!
Jerril Varghese
Jerril grew up in Massachusetts for all of his life. He is a visionary, ambitious, & aims high. (Really High)
Back in 2015; Jerril was sitting out on a stoop with a few friends, including a very good friend, Arun. They were at a retreat in NY talking about who our future spouse might be, and thought: “That very person is somewhere in this world at this exact moment; let’s take a moment and pray for them”. 8 years later I’ve found the one for whom I prayed that night.
Jincy George
Jincy George grew up in Bombay, then moved to Karnataka, and then to good ole’ Boston, Massachusetts. This is where she met the ice cream to her gulab jamun!
Jincy is also a visionary. (No surprise there since she is a remarkable architect)
